UNION OUTLET FAQ'S 

The Union Outlet primarily features overstock products, including many best sellers and factory seconds we must sell off to make room for new styles currently in production. Over time, the outlet will also include slightly creased shoes, and other products that are absolutely fine to wear but not in perfect condition to sell at full price in our main online and physical stores. 

Fulfilling our mission: As we talk about and strive to lead ethically, we are taking the initiative to lead by example. Our small-batch production process allows us to offer a better and more diverse product line, run special limited editions, and introduce new products several times throughout the year. From the very beginning, we consciously made the decision to represent a new type of luxury rooted in the high standards of bespoke shoemaking, but designed to offer men luxury shoes at accessible prices.

Because of the seasonality of styles and, frankly, the unique dynamics of the retail game, we often find ourselves with an overstock of specific models. Whether due to supply and demand fluctuations (i.e. current Covid-19 situation), changes in leather, last, soles, or construction details, and, at times, small imperfections, every season several models are put aside and stored in our warehouse. 

Although these shoes and boots remain in the back of our minds, it wasn’t until this unprecedented time that everyone is more value conscious due to economic uncertainty, and these well-crafted and beautiful shoes could become a treasured piece in someone’s shoe collection at a significantly reduced price.

Every product sold in the Union Outlet is carefully inspected to meet the same quality standards as any product sold through our main online and physical stores. Most importantly, for full transparency, each product will feature a CONDITION banner and a brief explanation of why it is sold through the Union Outlet channel. Products considered true factory seconds (products showing any significant defects) will be noted as such and photos of any imperfections or creases will be included for your review. 

Of course, the biggest Union Outlet's appeal is VALUE. Products in this channel are significantly discounted offering you a great opportunity to experience handcrafted Goodyear-welted shoes and other great products are extraordinary prices.

We will also attempt to display photos that best represent the shoes you're purchasing. Note, however, that photographed shoes may look different on your PC monitor than they do in person.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of the Union Outlet, you are voluntarily purchasing products from previous collections which we may not be able to exchange for a different size. Please refer to the Union Outlet return policies below.

We'd like to make it easy for you to experience the Union Outlet. That's why we offer free ground shipping** (8-12 business days)within the continental US on Union Outlet purchases over $75. If you'd prefer express or overnight delivery, you can select your desired option during the checkout process. Specific charges will apply.

**Please note, there is a restocking fee of $25 per pair for Union Outlet returns for a refund. Alternatively, store credit for full order amount is available.

Absolutely. You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

In order to make a domestic return or exchange, you have to enter our returns portal. When possible, affix the return shipping label to the original box in which your order was shipped. Please note a $25 restocking fee will be applied if your Factory Outlet order is returned for a refund.
